What better way to spend a 3 day weekend than to finally try and finish up a few sketches that were laying around. It's all over the place but it was fun to bounce around to each thing.
The first two are from the story I have been working on that seems to be taking forever.
Some floaters. Living the good life, float forever.
This last one is a study of a photo I took while in Portland. We were sitting in a shaded area that was nothing but cool bounced sky light and outside was bright yellow sunlight. Trying to keep those notes because the photo got rid of some of that.

Spent the weekend designing some mech type robot guys. There are a few genre's of game I would really like to work on in the future and this type of stuff is one of them
Thumbnails, I was leaning towards 1,4,5 but I went with 4 because I thought it had some character and a good mix of shapes.
I also did this quick 3d study that was going to be a base, but turned into a reference to see if the forms actually worked in 3d space.

Trying to wrap up 2014 on a high note with the last paintings of the year.
First one is a fictional research facility as described by two children who have never seen one. From a dystopian story I am still working on.
This one is just a quick sketch from around halloween.
Here is to a great 2015 for everyone!
